Functioning again… — 6 Comments — June 29th, 2006
Thanks to some help from the ASO staff I was able to fix the problems that some of you may have noticed on my site. Everything should be good now. Please let me know if you find any problems.
In other news, I’ve been gone for quite awhile again because I had a relapse of my anxiety attacks and I’ve been in bed for the past 2 weeks. I finally got into the doctor and he’s putting me on some long-term medication that is supposed to help me get back to normal.
I haven’t been back home to my computer yet but I plan on posting the larger screenshots of the templates I posted once I do return home. Right now I am at my mothers house until I feel better. I will be celebrating the 4th of July here and on the 5th of July I will be spending a week in the hospital with my mom while she is under observation. The doctors just want to figure out what is wrong with her. They’ve done many tests but still aren’t sure. They hope this week of observation will tell them what is wrong once and for all. When all that is done I will hopefully be returning home and getting back to life as normal.
Sorry about me being around on and off so much. What can I say, life happens…

What was the problem? Your site just blinked out of existance one day.
Also, does this mean that your panic attacks just coincided with drinking SoBe, or is it still the drink that’s to blame?
Well apparently my site was being moved to a new server by my hosting provider and two files, namely the two that have to do with my image headers plugin for Wordpress, somehow got corrupted. The ends of the two files just totally got chopped off. I just re-downloaded the plugin files and uploaded them to overwrite the corrupted ones and everything was fine again. As far as I know those two files were the only files that got corrupted. I’m not sure why it was those two particular files… I asked the tech support guy from my hosting provider and he said they weren’t sure either. I guess some wires just got crossed with their backup program when it came to those two files. But now everything should be good. Please let me know if you see any other problems because that could be a sign that more files got corrupted then I’m aware of right now.
As for the SoBe, I talked to my doctor and he said it is possible that the SoBe caused the initial attack and then that opened some sort of floodgate in my mind that brought on all the other attacks. That’s just one possibility though. Even the doctor wasn’t exactly sure what happened. The mind is a confusing thing…
When you gettin’ back on msn?
I’m not really sure at the moment… I had to reschedule my appointment for this upcoming Monday so I haven’t got on my long-term medication quite yet. Until I do get on that medication I doubt very much I’ll be getting back home to my computer. I’m doing my best though.

Although, there is an upside… once this is all over, you can sue SoBe for one billion dollars. You have a good case– I just heard on TV about a guy that’s suing Michael Jordan and Nike for 832 million dollars because his life has been ruined because he looks like Michael Jorden
